Vinyl roof wrap.

Hi, I just got a $350 quote to wrap my RL roof with gloss black! Does anyone know a cheaper place? I'm in San jose on Capitol/Alum Rock area. Thx.

you ever thought about using 3m di-noc instead? there's an acurazine member here that can sell you the dinoc and probably install it too and he's not far from you.

it cost like 100 bucks in vinyl, you can easily do it. my little brother did it on a friends car with zero experience and it came out exactly like if it came out of a shop.. use 3m

Im planing on putting vinyl on my roof as well. I found a shop in SJ that was charging 350 w. 1 year warranty. Is that a standard warranty for vinyl wrap? Price isn't bad I just feel like after a year if they vinyl starts fading/peeling Id be screwed.

350 sound about rite because the vinyl alone is around 120-150$ depending on the size and other 150$ for the install. If they are using a good brand like 3M or orcal, then don't get the warranty, it is a completely waste of money. The vinyl should last about 3-5 yrs outdoor. I had my vinyl more then 1 yr and it still holding fine and no fading just a lots of dusts. So be prepare to clean them every week. PM^ the guy above for more info, if that include the vinyl plus the labor lol.

Hello All!

I didn't want to start a new thread for something a tad relevant. Is there any recommendations on who to go to for getting my window trims vinyl wrapped?

Is "meesheddie" still around? If so (and if he does vinyl wrap for smaller things like window trims) does anybody have his contact info?

For what it is worth I have a 4G TL (2010) - tired of all the chrome on the car lol.

Many thanks in advance!
