A San Jose woman has been arrested six times since June on suspicion of vandalizing luxury cars such as BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes throughout Santa Clara County, according to law enforcement officials.
Nancy Chi Ni, 30, was arrested Monday afternoon in Milpitas after an officer watched her scratch the side of a parked Mercedes-Benz in the McCarthy Ranch shopping center, according to police Sgt. Daryl Seqeuira.
The officer first spotted Ni acting suspiciously around another Mercedes-Benz, which had been vandalized in the same manner, according to police.
Ni was booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of 11 counts of felony vandalism and committing a crime while being released on bail. Ni is next scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 28.
Richard Wingerden, the most recent attorney of record for Ni in Santa Clara County, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
At the time of her arrest Monday, Ni was out on bail following an arrest for a similar offense, according to law enforcement officials. Ni has three court cases pending in Santa Clara County, which include seven counts of vandalism and an additional count of battery, according to complaints.
There are two additional cases pending out of Santa Clara County, cases in which the district attorney's office has not yet filed charges.
Milpitas police say Ni has been linked to similar vandalism cases in Fremont, Pleasanton, Sunnyvale and Santa

Just can't believe there are people that go around doing this out of nowhere like it's a hobby.

It's great the cop watched her do it. Can't ask for too much more than that....ok maybe a bamboo whooping like in Singapore. They should let the owner get one hit in.

What's just stupid silly is that she drives a BMW herself. Atleast the Milpitas cop caught her in the act so the lawyers can't bullshit through that...Keep that Milpitas police reputation going
