I wanted you to keep guessing that's why.
More teaser pics up this weekend.

Sucks that this will be my mom's car cause I already want to start modding it lol
It needs tint, dechrome some trim pieces, LED footwells and truck lighting just to start.

Wish I had more notice then that. Speaking of meets, I've talked to a couple of members through email and PM and they would like to set something up. We're thinking possibly getting something to eat then just chatting about cars. Anyone have interest in joining us? We have not set a time, date or location yet.

More teaser pics attached. Next one is the reveal.

Sodabuff stopped by and did a detail on the new car...

Tools:
Rupes Bigfoot LHR21ES Polisher w/washer mod
Eurow Sheepskin Wash Mitt
Uber No Name Super Plush Microfiber Towels
Grit-Guard

Products:
Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash - body
Iron-X Paste - body
Nanoskin Fine Grade 6" DA Pad - body
Nanoskin Nano Shock Spray Lubricant - body
HD Polish - body
Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 Yellow polishing pad - body
Uber Green polishing pad - body
Rupes White finishing pad - body
Optimum Power Clean diluted 3:1 - body
IPA Mix - 91% IPA diluted 3:1 - body
Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 - body

The process was as follows: 1) wash, 2) applied Iron-X paste, 3) used Nanoskin Autoscrub as a clay substitute, 4) 1-step polish using HD Polish (surprisingly, the car's paint was almost perfect), 5) soak vehicle in Optimum Power Clean to remove polishing oils, 6) wipe down vehicle with IPA mix, 7) apply Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0.

We somehow missed some spots on the hubcaps, so pardon the brake dust in the pictures.

I forgot to take pictures before we started, so these are all pictures after the detail was complete. I really need to get a real camera.

Not a bad reflection for this color:

Best sun shot that I could get:

I'll be working for Accenture. Haha I'd be down. I won't be taking my TL though. My dad and I switched cars last month after the tranny went and he drives less. So I currently have his corolla

But i'd love to meet some fellow enthusiasts/azine peeps up there.

We've been having record low weather lately in the area. During the summer, we can have double digit consecutive 100+ days. I've seen it reach over 110 here.

Damn haha, well I guess I'm basically used to that since I went to UC riverside for 4 years.

I'll have a job though and wont be afraid to turn on the A/C then

Any tips on areas to checkout. I dont want to be too far from downtown. I heard midtown is nice, but its also on the pricier side?

How far is too far? I live in the pocket area and it's about 10 minutes away from downtown without traffic.

More than 30 minutes?

I'm thinking I may just try to find a room for rent on craigslist or some other means instead of looking for my own apartment. That why I have no reason to rush into an apartment and sign a 1 year lease.

I heard midtown is nice, but its also kinda expensive? My ideal rent would be below $750.

Some of my friends found good places in Arden by the university. Maybe 10 minutes from downtown too. I'd look there.

Accenture I used to work right down the street from there. That's like right off of 5 right? Yea midtown is a tad pricey, check out pocket or the Arden area. traffic just sucks in that area during commute hours, but I'm sure it's no where as bad as it is in LA. I believe my friend pays about 700 and he lives in Downtown I want to say 12th and G around there.

No clue where the office is haha. But I won't really be working too much out of the office anyway.

I heard downtown can be kinda sketchy? Is that true?

Lot of homeless yes, certain areas sketchy yea. It's going to be like that every where you go though. You could move out towards Davis too near the college, since there are alot of apartments out there to rent for a decent price, or you could possibly find a roomate

Nah, Davis actaully had really high rent. I'm talking 2k/month for a 3 room house with no garage. Usually rent is high around colleges.
Arden/fair oaks area should be pretty cheap. West sac is also pretty cheap but can be shady.

I don't think you'll have to worry about living too far away from downtown, the city limits aren't probably even anymore than 30 minutes away in either direction.

I've been living in Sac for about 3 months now and after going around the city, my rule is stick to where the people are. If you start seeing less and less people in an area, there's probably a reason for it. Lot of homeless people and beggars that's for sure. The areas around Sac State are pretty nice and definitely lots of apartments open. Two of my friends live at Sierra Regency (I think that's what it is called) and those are nice and not a bad rent payment.

Thanks guys.

Yea its just hard to know the areas when I'm basically looking form a computer. The deal could be good, but the area could be bad. But I'll look into areas you guys said.

This is one of the reasons I'm looking for month to month places on Craigslist. I can get a feel for Sac in general and look for my own place eventually. Also this gives me a chance to meet people. I know nobody in sac

I'm so glad rent is so cheap up there compared to LA. With the student loans I have this will deff be a relief.

Best of luck to my future fellow alumns!

Apt searching is such a pain. Anyone know any good places that can be had for under 800, something from where i can commute to downtown.

Your going to drive to downtown right? Try the Arden/Arcade area. I'll PM you my phone number and you can text me any questions you have and I can point you in the right direction. I know Sac pretty well. Im not on Azine much since I have a little one now.
