Best/Honest Bay Area Acura Dealer
Guys, I might be taking my car in for the driveline vibration issue and since this would be warranty work, I need to take it into a reputable Acura dealer. I just got my car so I don't know much about which Acura dealers do good honest work and I'd rather not get stuck into too much run around.
I'm close to South Bay Honda in Milpitas but I've had good and bad experiences with them.
I didn't see a thread like this in the Norcal section; I'd appreciate any input.

I heard anywhere but Stevens Creek is ok. Pleasanton, Los Gatos and Sunnyvale seem to get good reviews. Surprised we didn't get more replies to this thread already.

I take my RDX to Sunnyvale. They are OK. They seem to do everything "by the book," but the service reps are very polite and will help with whatever you need. My guess is because they want to monies so they'll do anything as long as you pay up.

Thanks for the reco's, I've taken it to Sunnyvale and so far so good. The tech drove the car with me and was very careful and knowledgeable. I just got a call and they are picking me up and getting me into a loaner.
My three items are under warranty.

The major issue was the driveline vibration between 1500-2k rpm in 5th. You can read my posts here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...556987&page=12 .
The other two issues were a funny acting front passenger window that required a regulator replacement and a front airbag light on when it shouldn't be (they reset something).

I went to Acura of concord few times for parts, they have been good in the parts department so far. My friend took his TSX in for the power steering recall fix and it was fixed in the estimated time they gave him.

I'll be headed to Concord Acura on Thursday, where I purchased a CPO 2014 RDX FWD Tech for the wife and son. I'm due for a B1 service, quoted $97 including tax. I called Pleasanton Acura, but they wanted $150 for the same service.
I'll also probably be due for a brake fluid replacement, so I'll see what the quote is. I had a hassle-free and relaxed buying experience, so I hope to have the same in their service department.

So B1 service done at Acura of Concord and thankfully uneventful.
For some reason, they didn't have my updated appointment information (he thought I was coming in the day before). Regardless, I was led to Terry. He offered the accelerated service bay, which would take an hour. They honored the 10% off coupon they emailed me, and service was $89.95 plus tax. Got synthetic blend 0w-20, new oil filter, and a tire rotation (saw them torquing down the lugs before they backed it out). They showed me the break down, still life left in the brake pads and tires, didn't try to upsell at all, just thought that tires would be due in "one to two services", so approximately 20K miles. They also washed the windows and vacuumed (not a full wash, but was also a minor service). I took advantage of the free desktop station they had available, some water, and a bag of pretzels to hold me over. They took my keys to 1020 and handed them over at 1115.
Engine felt smooth thanks to the new oil and the mild tire vibration seems to have also resolved with the rotation.
So the service was no-frills as well and I'm happy I went. Maybe I could have saved $20-30 shopping around, buying my own parts, etc., but I still think I got a lot of value and piece of mind.
