I'm down for similar set up as last year, BBQ @ a park. There was plenty of parking, restrooms and didn't have any issues with law enforcement. All we need is weather to stay clear.

yeah, i used to have a bunch of subaru meets there with up to 30 cars.
the problem is all these car club groups keep making tons of meets there, and when some groups are like 200+ cars deep and DON'T get permissions or permits, that starts pissing off the agency that controls that land.

so it's making it tougher even on small groups, cause we'll get booted out, which causes a problem with trying to regroup people at another location last second and it hella sucks for those people who drive like 2+ hours to go to a meet only to have it busted up

the Initial D World meet is going on still this morning at Lafayette Reservoir. The organizes did this meet right! there are 250+ cars going, and they got permissions from east bay parks to hold the meet there without having to pay for large event costs, since they are just using the parking lot which has it's own fees, and aren't using the BBQ pits and tables. https://www.facebook.com/events/497128356985755/

so lafayette reservoir seems like a good location, and they seem to be friendly and nice with cars.

We can do another Fairfield BBQ meet again. The last one turned out real good.
Or maybe something in The Vallejo area that's a bit closer for the bay guys.

No im not selling my baby just yet. I did buy her off cl a year and 3 months back though. Im selling the 19s in the pic on cl for 1k so maybe thats what u saw

Oh Ok. There was a tl for sale similar to yours recently but nice to meet you.

As for this thread I'm down to meet locally also. I can't right now but hopefully soon. My car is giving me problems so it's in the shop for the 4th time since I bought it less than a month ago.
