$1350 (+ shipping, see below). Brand new, in unopened box. Sony sent this to me in lieu of repairing my existing Sony HDTV. Sony lost a class action suit regarding the optical blocks in their XBR projection tv's. Rather than repair the optical blocks, Sony has elected to give us XBR owner's another TV instead. I received this last week. It's sitting unopened in my living room.

To answer some of your questions which I should have anticipated:

1. Right now, I am pretty firm on the price. However, my goal in setting the price was for the final price to you to be cheaper than you could find anywhere else for a brand new, unopened product. If you find this cheaper somewhere else, contact me and we can talk.
2. The shipping weight is 80 lbs. (Box dimensions are: 61" x 34" x 10")
3. I will only ship this insured (about $11 of the shipping cost).
4. For an item of this value, FEDEX requires signature confirmation on delivery. If you may not be available for delivery, it can be held at your local FEDEX location to be picked up at your convenience (no extra charge).
5. My zip code is 58701. The shipping estimate I gave was from North Dakota to California. Most likely, your actual shipping will somewhat less (unless to Canada).

Good price, I worked for Sony up until recently and $1350 is below employee cost.

Hey, thanks for that info...That kind of surprises me. I would have thought that Sony employees would have been able to buy this cheaper than that. Out of curiosity, do you mind sharing what the Sony employee price is (with or without shipping?)?
