the 06's are the TRUE hybrids!
got upgraded electronics while still rockin 04-05 dress up

Mine was born in Sept. of 2006.
the electronics upgrades are small; but kinda cool! my friend had an '05 and we tore both of our cars down and noticed little things like rear view mirror and other differences.

Not sure what you mean; do you have a 2004 with a few 2008 parts, or do you have a 2008 with a few 2004 parts?

A few questions, why go with 2008 wiring harnesses, and what's up with the ride height on the front end of that car?

Either that or the engine and transmission have gone missing.

No bodies. I have the left front off the ground wiring the neutral safety switch. I bought the parts car for cheap plus the wife wanted all the extras that came with the 08. I thought it would be a simple switch over and it was, except for trying to figure out why it dies when I put it in reverse. Seems like the torque converter is locking up. I’m thinking a pressure switch or solenoid is wired differently from the 04 to 08

What extras came with the 2008?

She wanted the backup camera, aux input, different tails and headlights and the better nav system. I wanted to put aftermarket in, but no. Now I’m dealing with this mess.

Kind of impressive... I'd have probably just bought an '08 but your way seems much more adventurous.

Conrats and welcome!

Thank you. It’s definitely been adventurous. I’m not sure if anyone else has done it and succeeded. I’m almost done as soon as I find out the wiring for the transmission and stop it from shutting down when I put it in reverse
