Hello all,

I currently own a 08 honda civic ex coupe and I'm looking for something bigger with more power. I have my eyes peeled for a TL type S 2007-2008 preferably manual. I've mostly seen automatics posted for sale. I know some of the older Hondas have automatic transmission issues and I'm curious if the one in the Type-S was okay or not. I'll be checking the classified section here for new listings as well.

A nice 2007 TL-S auto was just posted.

No! TL-S auto tranny was fine... 2004-05 (sometimes 2006) base auto TL had the tranny problems...

Do you work at the DMV?

Have to say the 3.7mod cl s will always turn heads...look for a cheap 03 ish. Great platform to build a sleeper, the Rl is a very nice choice also

Why would you recommend an old CL Type-S when someone is looking for a TL Type-S? Very different cars.

Owned and built both gens and mdl,s and styles. ..and that F4u corsair looks over due for a tune up as well...
at least not a p51d mustang. Good base solid platform technical jargon was modified for and some real great builds excluding the Tl with the jet eng came out of. And for 6k I can get 22 to 26 k in and comps
