New member 3G TL questions

I just joined today, I've been lurking these forums for a while but decided to join for full experience. I have a 3G TL that I'm starting to modify and have lots of questions. Should I change out stock parts that are recommended to be changed (even if they're not bad yet) or should I begging the mods?

what do you mean recommended parts? but are not bad yet?
and SHOULD you begin modding? iunno, that's your call.
