New to me Acura RDX

Traded my 04 Accord coupe 6-6MT in on a '14 RDX. Liking it a lot so far, and the similarities make it easier to learn things. I note that the navi is not touch screen like my Honda was, but very few other negative comparisons.

I hope to learn enough to be able to share information with others eventually.

Well, I had it for 12 years, bought it in 2008 at 4 years old with 48K on the clock. I did a lot of the work that was required myself (not that a lot was required...) and traded it with 198,000 on the clock, still running like a top.

The kid I had bought it from had put a loud Greddy exhaust on it, and I never spent the money to change it back (I did ask him if he had the original still, but he did not).

It still looked pretty good on the inside, but the leather was basically shredded, so I had seat covers. The clear coat was pretty much gone, though, so it looked pretty bad. No body damage on it. It had navi and everything that you could put on a Honda in 2004, and it served me very well.

Just asking because I love those cars. Just picked up a mint 2006 auto sedan with navi. I also have a 2007 RDX with 299K miles and still running strong!

I hope you enjoy the new ride!

I am sure that I will enjoy the Acura; I just hope it can live up to the reliability of the long line of Hondas in my past! They didn't make (or wouldn't sell me?) a navi DVD newer than 2013, so it's nice to have a newer one in this vehicle (it's 2017; I will buy the 2021 DVD when it comes out in a few months.

It's hard to go wrong with a Gen7 Accord! Thanks for the reply, and enjoy your cars!
