New to Acura
What’s up guys, names Nick. I’m 22 and originally from Long Island, New York. I’m in the Air Force stationed about an hour east of Pensacola, Florida. Always been a mechanic. Father, Grandfather, and my 2 brothers are all GM gurus, and I was the runt of the litter being a Volkswagen/Audi guru. After owning and building 2 seperate A4s then an S4 I wanted a car just as luxurious without being built completely ass backwards, which led me to buying a 2015 TLX. It’s the V6 tech package, so it has enough go go juice to keep me happy. I’m joining here hopefully to learn more about Acura and the Honda family in general, so far I love it besides the fact it isn’t a stick shift . I don’t plan on building on this TLX, although I would love to see how you all have altered your cars cosmetically, as it has a lot of potential. Hope to meet some new friends here. Here’s a pic of the new beauty

Congratulations, nice car. If I was in your shoes (and assuming you have an FWD TLX), I'd take a serious look at finding a wrecked 9G Accord with a V6 6MT and evaluating the effort to swap the 6MT into your car. I have long thought the V6 TLX with a 6MT would be a wonderful ride.
