New to Acura
Just purchased a 2009 RDX with the technology package. Given that I moved from my 2013 VW Passat diesel, this is a big change, especially the all-wheel drive. I went backwards a few years, but I'm happy so far. I'm still trying to figure out a few things like the mysterious white cap covering something next to the charging port in the center console. It should be fun!

Welcome! Did your Passat get bought back by VW because of the whole emissions thing?
You may have already found it, but the 1G RDX section is a great resource. Some reading around in there may just find you the answer to your mysterious white cap.
Happy motoring!

Hi Cu2wagon, yes, I did. The diesel emissions buyback led me to turn the vehicle in. I decided not to stay with VW as I was disappointed in the overall quality of the vehicle. I had about 4 unresolved recalls, dumped money into repairs at 40,000 miles and the electronics were subpar. The engine was great, just not legal. I always liked Honda products and I thought this was a good start with Acura. Thanks for the welcome!

I bet there were a bunch of people in the same situation, who didn't shed many tears about dropping off their VW.
From what I recall when I was shopping for wagons a few years back, stepping up from the Jetta to the RDX should be quite a peppy upgrade.
Well, I hope you have many years of problem free motoring with your RDX.
