Hello Acurazine members,

I am coming to Acurazine with a 2002 Acura TL. We bought her in 2015 with 243,000 miles from a co-worker who went to the certified Acura dealer every 3 months religiously - she was the original owner!! When she decided to purchase a brand new MDX, I thought the car was a steal at $1,200. The only thing wrong was a recently blown driver side headlight that needed a new ballast. (She decided not to fix it as she wanted a new car and was quoted a $900 fix by the dealer...) So I purchased the car and gave it to my 18 year old son. He never changed fluids and came limping home 1.5 years later complaining that the car would not shift out of 2nd gear... This is my first time posting, but I am a long time reader of these forum posts. I look forward to discussing my AV6 swap on another thread.
