Hi All,

About to purchase an RDX Advance and this forum has been invaluable for learning about the vehicle and what to look out for as a new owner. I have never owned an Acura, but I have owned 5 Hondas over the years and loved everyone of them. So, needless to say I am a big fan of the Honda & Acura vehicles.

Welcome to the forum! I too made the Honda/Acura transition previously. It's been really nice to have the the Honda reliability/parts availability (for most stuff) with the higher trim levels you find in Acura.

Well, I would like to purchase soon but two things may hold me up:
1. Not much availability of the Advance I want (lots of A-Spec Advance, but I don't like the seat color inside and the red gauges are a no-go for me given my red-green color deficiency). May also need to wait for 2024 MY as they should be switching production over soon, but don't expect much in the way of functional changes.
2. My current car (and trade-in!) is a Nissan Murano and the Transmission just imploded, so not sure when they will be able to repair that. Fortunately covered under warranty, but waiting for Nissan USA to authorize dealer to order new CVT and service manager said it could be a week or a month depending on supply

UPDATE: Just ordered a 2023 Advance SH-AWD in Platinum White Pearl and Ebony. Should have rolled of assembly line yesterday.
Now I just have to wait...

I was told July 21 when I put my deposit down but last week I got a VIN and and updated Aug. 4 arrival to dealer date...of course I am at a conference then... I hate waiting
