Greetings AcuraZine!
Hello all!
I recently purchased a 2005 Acura RL that needed some love and attention (still needs some). This is my first Honda/Acura vehicle with 4 wheels but I've owned and ridden a 2006 Honda CBR600RR for the last 8 years or so.
If you couldn't tell by my username I'm a Ford guy (dodges thrown objects) and have owned/driven/modified/maintained my namesake ZX2 (TheEvilZX2) since 2003. I currently own 4, my wife and I each daily a 2002 ZX2. The 2005 RL will be a weekend/trip vehicle for us when needed. Fixing thibgs and looking over the RL I've found it is lowered on H&R springs and is wearing Acura ZDX wheels (255/50/19s)
I'm glad to have found this forum as it is packed with great knowledge about the 2nd Gen RL that I've purchased. I spent a good few years as a diesel mechanic so I'm not afraid to tear stuff apart and fix it. So many issues I've already resolved with this vehicle thanks to you all here. And a few junkyard runs to track down various odds and ends to button up the interior.
Anyhow I plan to stick around for a while and hang onto this RL and enjoy it for a bit.
Thanks for having me AcuraZine!
