Hi guys! I have been lurking unregistered for a while before and after buying my 08 TL. I have finally decided to register and (hopefully ) be an active community member. I have some big performance dreams for my TL that will probably never come to fruition, but either way I am excited to try and become a competent shade-tree mechanic while working on a beautiful, naturally-aspirated Honda V6. It is kind of a shame to see the older threads and broken image links, but I am hopeful that there still is a strong 3rd gen TL community out there! Also anyone else here excited for the new Top Gear (Grand Tour cough cough) special!? Those guys got me into cars in the first place hehe.

layout your plans for your TL! what do you pan on doing to make it faster and quicker?

 

Honestly I am kind of a complete noob at performance modding , but I was thinking of some kind of high-flow cat with a turbocharger (would say super but my MPG is bad enough as it is). I was thinking of a cold air intake as well, but I have heard that the TL has a pretty intake stock. Also I prefer under-stated cars and some super loud exhaust is a no go. Honestly at the point of my life I am at right now, I would say all of that is on-hold and still a distant dream. Right now I am just working to get my TL squeaky clean and all of the maintenance items done. I am about to do a power steering flush courteous of the DIYs here.

Also I forgot to add that its an automatic... yeah I know. I got it cheap though so . If I really hated myself I would attempt a manual swap but...
