3G TL Base AT Newbee
 

What's up my fellow TL lovers! I've wanted a 3G TL (mostly the Type-S), but I couldn't afford it. I found a decent deal on a 3G Base AT Anthracite Metallic one last Dec. (just before XMas of 2018). It has a bit of miles on it (~160K), and it needs a little TLC, but I'm happy with it. I'm glad to be finally part of the 3G TL club and I hope I can contribute.

The last owner added the following:

-tint job
-powdercoated the 07 base wheels black
-shaved TL emblem
-painted A emblem black
-Swapped out all of the lights (headlights, tail lights, side markers) to the all black DEPO ones
-Swapped out the stock grill with the "shark" looking grill
-Custom exhaust welded to the stock rear muffler tips
-Cold Air Intake

Since I got it, I replaced the radiator and radiator hoses, oil change, spark plugs, did a valve adjustment. I know it's eventually gonna need a new power steering system, timing belt replacement, and a rear/front main seal replacement. Until I get the $ to do all of the expensive work, I purchased some non-glossy CF wrap from Amazon and did some wrapping of the interior center console, outer door window trim, rear trim above license plate, and the above part of the front grill. I'm eventually gonna try to wrap the bottom of the front grill, the interior door trim, and the license plate area (all but the reverse) light area. I also ordered a darth vader (My fam and I are Star Wars geeks lol) shift knob and a generic shift boot to make the shift part look cleaner. I also ordered the T3 neowedge lights to replace the navi lights (thanks to everyone on this site who's helped identify the light bulbs and done the how to write-ups!). I also ordered LEDs for the rear blinkers (along with the resistors), and LEDs for the license plate and reverse lights. I definitely want to do the front switchback blinkers, but I'm debating on the type and resistors that are required for this mod. Below is what I'd like to add to my new toy:

Type S wheels (dark grey or black)
Type S Rear Tails
Front/Rear Type S Lips
Full tint job (the one on it now is ok, but it has scratches and is starting to bubble up)
Side mirror replacements
Replace the front door courtesy lights with the "Acura" logo puddle lights
Rear Lower diffusor
Swap out OEM rear spoiler with duckwing style
Upper rear window spoiler
Seat Covers (front leather is torn)
Dash Cover
12" sub + amp (wiring is already ready for plug and play)
Front Emblem addition (not sure if I want the 2019 ILX front emblem or the OEM front emblem)
Interior footwell ambience lighting for the front/rear
