2012 TSX Sport Wagon, oil change concerns
How long after the yellow oil change maintenance light comes on is it still safe to operate the vehicle? I’m away from my dealer and would prefer to wait until I get back to town to do the oil change. I will likely have put 250 miles on the car since the light went on by the time I return to my home. Will I be doing damage to the engine? Thank you.

If you're going by the MID countdown, you should be able to cycle through to see how many miles it thinks are left. I seem to recall the light coming on at 20% life remaining. maybe 10%?
Even assuming 6k miles between services, that's still at least 600 miles.
Regardless, an extra 250 miles is nothing to worry about. If you're particularly concerned, pop the hood and check your oil level to make sure it's not super low. No oil is worse than old oil.
