So my new wheels shud be here next week for the up coming meets. 19x9.5,19x11 +12 F and +0 R offsets. Anyone have any hook ups on tires or a tech that I can trust to mount 2 tires?

 

I'm going to be away that weekend...otherwise I'd love to roll up there for CanAm. I just read the link in your sig and it looks like a good time too.

How's the Accord coming along? Any progress since the Umass show?

 

It's coming along okay. I pulled the interior this weekend to deep clean everything. It's going to get some temporary paint this weekend so I don't have the two tone satin silver metallic and primer. I'm still waiting for the guy doing my body work to come up with a good solution for mounting my fog lights to the bumper I have sitting in his shop.

 

Nice.....I finally got my lip spoiler replaced...hopefully this one sticks around a while

Some crackhead stole it. There was a red TL Type S parked near me and his was stolen too.

Well the OEM spoiler is bolted on...but apparently you can pry it up with a screwdriver/knife/etc and yank it off...

 

I'd wreck someone's face if they did that to my car.

no that was back in 08 in boston while i was at college, one of the many incidents she had, came out in the morning and the spoiler was gone

came out to this asshole parked on my car with a wheel lock on their steering wheel....

fucking toyota prius...

car got broken into, 3" stainless steel exhaust and vibrant muffler were stolen and some eibach springs n racing helmet


came out to this a week later...


then the spoiler...

i got her information... my car alarm was going off while i was inside napping, i went outside and she was still parking, took her like 15 min after that to finish parking

The thief ruined my factory wiring and I started to have all sorts of electrical issues so I ditched the Altima and bought the Acura April 2010....and I've posted up my spoiler incident already...lol

 

and um may i ask which part of boston this stuff happens in? cause i have major ocd since i got this car lol. gf hates it but hey this is how guys roll! just asking cause sometimes/rarely go into Boston and park just wanted to watch out where i do tho.

 

All my "issues" happened in Southie but this can happen pretty much anywhere. My Altima was cased for sure but the TL was parked for about 2.5 hours when the spoiler was snatched.

I guess it really depends on where you go in Boston....

 

only time u need to worry about vandalism is at night time, but i was in the mission hill area lol

 

downtown chinatown, back in the day when i had an oldskool accord hatchie 88' real clean and fresh with some mods done...car stolen at around 2:30am and found it 2weeks later in a junkyard...yeah Gotta love the mean streets of Boston...I just wish could catch someone in the act at least 1 time,,,hmm how sweet that would be for me at least fucking losers and scums of the world

 

Yeah, I learned really fast that cars + the hill = heartache. My now fiance used to live on the hill and my Accord got broken into multiple times (nothing was ever in the car) and the mirror got busted off while it was folded in. We live in Cambridge now and I am constantly checking on the TSX and spying on people parking etc. The first week I had the car, someone came around the corner too tight and smeared the paint right off the corner of my bumper. What's wrong with people here?! Massholes.

I moved here from Minneapolis where you don't even think about parking closer than 6" to anyone else because it's "not nice" and if you hit somebody, you leave your information.

 

Wait...people actually do that? I wish that was the case out here lol

 

So true. I came from MI and it's the same way there. People around here are just rude and don't give a shit about anyone else. I can't wait to get the hell out of MA.

 

updateeee, tomorrow i will be ordering my PPG/Quaife LSD/Tsx 6th Gear setup, PPG will be 1-4 with new synchro's, rsx 6th in 5th location, and tsx 6th for 6th with a new gear and new synchro. Turnaround time is about 2 weeks i was told so should be in by the 4th!
