its kinda late in the season for meets
we do get together quite often when its a little warmer tho.

If we try to have a meet now it will fail, nobody comes when it starts to get chilly out, everyone is raising their cars up and putting their winter wheels on

Check back in a few months we will definitely be having a spring meet!

 

Doesn't mean we can't all meet up and go bowling or hang out or something. I'd assume for the most part everyone is over 21 so lets hit up a bar or something

yea almost everyone in the CT/MA/RI/NY crew is 21

pick a chill spot and ill let people know

anyways yea milford is cool with me, plan something, i dont feel like doing it, im lazy

I do a weekly meet in milford at the mcdonalds right near the mall- every tuesday from 7PM on. we usually have 150-200 cars show up when the weather is nice.

figured i'd extend this to acurazine for the CT people looking for something to do in the spring/summer.

it's pretty popular on some local forums (ctvtec, ccdsm, ctsubie, etc.)

leave the BS at home, and come have a good time.

You can find me either in my CBP TL-S or my 1g talon depending how I feel that day

cmon out man! the more the merrier. i've counted (just to prove a point to myself) a touch over 200 cars on a few occasions.

sidenote- you didn't crash your car in new haven near sports haven friday night(2/18), did you?

We had a AZ meet in Stamford CT back in sept 09 I think.. It was a good time meet lots of cool peeps from here. It's also a pretty centrally located spot between ny and northern ct. Anyone interested in doing it again this spring? I can be of more help this time around.. I think Carrie organized the last one, you remember the spot right?

Lets get something going in the CT area people. Last year there were zero meets in CT.

Ok great, so I guess now we just have to pick a date and post up a CT meet thread and start a list going. I think the big park in stamford from before is a nice spot. It worked out before. So I'm thinking bbq meet. Since I'm local I can bring my propane grill from home and we can cook some real food that doesnt taste like it was rolled in charcoal. lol

Scalzi park has got a picnic area, parking, fields, hand ball, b-ball. etc. There's a huge grocery store right around the corner and it's five minutes from I-95. I'm going to check the parks and recs site and see when there is a weekend without anything going on. Possibly in May. Sometimes that place can be packed when they hold concerts, baseball tourney's, dog show, bocce night, recycle day, etc. They use that park for allot of stuff.

Theres also a great beach in Stamford too, maybe we could do it there... I could get atleast 10 local car guys to show up (don't worry mostly Acura's and no ricers) plus the AZ crew = Carrie says there's a meet, and then 15 3rd gen Tl's will follow. lol If we can get a thread up a month in advance usually theres a good turnout pending weather of course.

 

Hey guys can anyone get some info on the UConn car show, I heard it's in April, that would be an excellent meet for all of us to participate in.

 

Yeah, I've had quite a few, but this one is staying, promise.

I've gone from Acura TL >> Honda Accord >> Honda Civic Si >> Volkwagen Jetta >> Hyundai Genesis. In a span of 2 years and 6 mos.

yea the uconn car show is normally packed. Tons of modded subies, not many acuras tho. Normally the only acuras that are there is the acurazine crew that goes. We had a pretty good group last year.
