Have fun. Are you just driving up for the day or the weekend? If the weekend, where are you staying? Not that I'll be there for F1 but probably will for CART in August.

I got a room at a place called Hotel Du Fort. I've never been there but it was about all I could get at last minute's notice w/o a 3 day minimum stay. It's supposed to be OK, we shall see. Try Orbitz. I usually stay at the Hotel Intercontinental on the edge of Old Montreal. To the back is a place called Hotel St. James whose rooms are phenomenal, I got a tour of the rooms last year from the manager.

Your daughter must be rather prosperous huh Red? Good for you, you're gonna have a great time. I've always wanted to go to Laguna-one of these days.

I stayed at a nice, and new, hotel in Longueil (sp?), name escapes me I've got it at home, last year. Rates were low and it was less than a five minute walk to Metro - one stop to the Island. Sunday night I was back in my car and on the road while those who parked at the track were still trying to figure out how to get off the Island.

Well although she's unemployed, her Mom helped her out Yeah, this will be my second time to Laguna, my seats enable me to watch them all the way from the corkscrew, down around the start/finish and then up the hill. I like Portland better
