Webber to Red Bull
BBC Sport is saying Webber is headed to Red Bull, partnering DC next year. Klien is out of a drive, and Alex Wurz is taking Webber's spot at Williams.
I would've thought Webber would end up at Renault, especially with Flav as his manager. Let's see how this move turns out.

Briatore might be on the way out of Renault.
If Webber does to go Red Bull, I would believe that nobody's seat is safe. Coulthard, Liuzzi, Speed, Klein. Anyone of them could be drifting the Red Bull Pontiac next year.

Briatore is headed out? I haven't seen anything to that effect yet, other than the cancer scare he had recently. Has there been anything else happening that would make one say he might be leaving F1?
The full updated article at BBC now says that DC has been given a ride at Red Bull, with Horner saying it was "an easy decision" to extend his contract.
So, it would seem at least Red Bull's drivers are set for next year.

Liuzzi's been under a lot of scrutiny, ditto Klien. No brainer to replace him but wtf would Weber go to RB? At least Williams knows how to win a championship, granted it's been a while but they are one of the "big" teams.

I find it interesting that none of the Red Bull drivers next year will be from the Red Bull Academy.
So, Klein or Speed or Liuzzi will probably be without a ride next year. No more Friday testers, too. Someone will be sent packing. My bet is on Klein.

Webber sez he is anxious to drive the first Red Bull chassis designed by Newey and it is the "perfect time" to join the team. Yeah, ok, has he seen how McLaren is doing this year? Wasn't 2001 the last time the team won a championship in a car designed by Newey? So I say big fuckin' deal. What's interesting is that the Renault seat is still open when Kimi is the driver it is trying to get in the car. Obviously didn't want to fill the seat w/ Webber (even Flav, his mgr) if there was a chance to put the Kimster in to race for the Reggie
