USGP gets another year from the Bernster

While not official, Tony G. said the race will occur next year after a one year extension to the agreement w/ Ecclestone. Apparently there won't be a commitment until the new Concorde Agreement is "set in stone." BTW-talk about the deadness around motorsports lately (open wheel anyways).

The way you hear it from Tony George is that he is granting F1 another year at his baby. The guy is seriously dillusional.

Probably not both bro-likely Indy next year only. Who knows, but that's what it looks like. Michael wants to go to Indy too.

Just read that Zonta drove the 2006 Toyota F1 to a new track record at Laguna Seca during a demo run. (wouldn't it be an unofficial track record then?) How I would love to see the F1 USGP held at Laguna Seca rather than Indianapolis. Too bad it will never happen.

I'd like to see that as well. Right after they have it back at the home of road racing USA-Watkins Glen. Also only 2 hrs away.
