Per my understanding of the rule as it is currently phrased, you get 25 points for each, both the constructor and the driver.
Doesn't matter to me, as I seem to have screwed up both picks

I'm just trying to figure out who can catch Dougler. Looks like Bearcat can win it, although he hasn't made a pick in 5 races!

I think we need to change this part of the rule next year. 25 points is too much. Picking the right champion should be more of a tie-breaker deal.

Rule Interpretation & FINAL STANDINGS

So after Race 1 (Australia) I have 5 points. We then repeat that process each race weekend and keep track of the points. Now come Brazil (last race of the season), lets say I have 98 points. It also turns out that Ferrari got the constructors (my preseason constructor pick) but Hamilton (my preseason driver pick) did not win the drivers championship. I would then add 25 to 98 making my total points 123. We would then see who had the most points and the winner gets something really really cool!

Under my interpretation of the bold text, it mean's that there are 25 points awarded for choosing the correct constructor, and 25 points for choosing the correct drivers champion. Thus here's the final standings for points before and after the additional points.

I've been thinking about making the thread the last few days. As for rule changes can we all agree upon this:

1 pt for your driver winning Pole position
10pts for Selecting the Driver champion at the end of season and 10 for constructor champion.
Race points will be awarded as per FIA standings at the end of the race event.
Driver picks must be submitted before Saturday practice begins

Driver/Constructor picks must be submitted by March 22nd for your season picks.

If everyone agrees with these just post in this thread, and in a week or so I'll make the official one. if there's any changes anyone wants post them as well.

I would also like to get all participants to PM me their email addy, and what I'll do is setup a group so that everyone get's a reminder email to submit there weekly pick's on thursday or Friday before the race weekend, so we can cut down on forgetting to post.

i agree, but i am officially stepping down as the creator of this. I would suggest we keep this thread open so we can historically track our pics/pts or w/e and see how big this eventually gets
