Really good article, alot of interesting details and facts I've never read before.
Not a MS fan but he is undeniably one of the sport's most talented and gifted of all time. Cannot deny his determination and drive.

I knew a lot of that and forgot about it except that "DeCrasheris" was nothing more than a high speed chicane. You always held your breath as your man came up to lap him bc he was such a shitty driver. OTOH- MS was only in his first race vs. Andrea's 160th and there's a lot to be said for the fact
MS was able to outpace him so quickly. The Jordan 7Up car was pretty cool looking too.

Read the book "The Piranha Club" which details all the back room moves that took Schumacher to Benetton after Spa.

Ha! I remember Ron Dennis saying "Welcome to the Piranha Club" to another new team principal, don't remember who that was though.
