Kimi 07?

OK, where do you think the Kimster will end up next year? I can't see him staying at McLaren b/c of their inability to win, yet alone end up on the podium consistently. I also can't see him in Ferrari next to MS since his contract gives him clear #1 status. I'll vote Renault.

Is there any chance he could end up at Honda? If not, why? If Honda was smart they'd make a huge push for this guy.

Honda should have signed either Raikkonen or Montoya. My guess is that Button and Barrichello are under multi-year contracts. Another major screw up at Brackley.

I think Rubens signed a 3 year and Jense signed a 4 year (last year) if memory serves . . . .

We're screwed. How in the world could they sign Rubens for a 3 year contract?

Oh well, Honda will come out with a 1000bhp engine next year.

I don't mind Rubens so much, he is what he is. Its Jensen who's not coming close to expectations. He fades at some point in every race. It happened to be the last stage on Sunday.

I think its him more than it is the car.

Well, I rate Button higher than Barrichello. Although that's not saying much.

I think Honda did well to sign Barrichello last year, because he was the best available driver at the time. But why did Honda have to give him a 3 year deal, since so many drivers are out of contract this year?

Rubens is a great driver. I dunno what all this complaining about him being under contract is about.

Unfortunately his market value was mid to high-mid when he left Ferrari having been a perpetual number 2, that'll do it to ya. I think Honda scored the best available driver they could have when they got Rubens. As for Jense, he does fade every race about 2/3's through. Like he just doesn't have any more competitiveness left in him or something.

I don't see Kimi heading over to Ferrari while Schumi is still there, either. However, Todt's comments at the German GP certainly made it clear that Ferrari is looking to bring Kimi in.

If Schumi does end up retiring this year, then I can definitely see him at Ferrari, if not then my best guess would be Renault. I think McLaren has really dropped the ball these last few years, having either an unreliable or a slow car at different points. Has to have frustrated Kimi, who could've been a world champion by now.

Also, I don't think (or hope, actually) that he's going to end up Honda. Honda hasn't quite managed to meet expectation so far. It might almost be a step down for him, and could be a move to match JV's initial jump to BAR on the what-was-he-thinking scale
