Can't wait to watch Alonso in Wayne Taylor's car

~HondaF1~
I was there all day Saturday and I am psyched for the race!! I couldn't go Sunday because I had to change the alternator in my 06 MDX (it's an Acura forum remember?) which went smoothly - it was OEM.
I have always rooted for the 10 car, I'm very attached. They are from here in my town (well, since Wayne moved from South Africa) and ride my bike by Wayne and Jordan's house from time to time. They live off of Bear Lake about 6 houses down from each other...
When I worked for TSW, had his Ferrari 333SP (still my fav race car) in my warehouse for a week before the 1999 Rolex, well, they needed him for corner weighing and he was in our side of town (my warehouse was in the South part of Orlando, we live in North Orlando, so about an hour drive in traffic - which it was) so they looked at me, put me on a scale.... and proceeded to put me IN HIS PHOKING CAR for an hour!!! Epic. My favorite hour EVER.
Anyways, really scared for Joest - they looked very, very fast.
I wonder of the BoP hammer will fall......

just started hour #6 and the No. 10 Caddy DPi is out front with a 15 sec. lead over the No. 77 Mazda in P2, followed by the 2 Acuras another 20 sec. adrift in P3 and P4 ....
I'm enjoying listening to the IMSA Radio commentary along with the sounds from inside the cockpit of the lead vehicle via the in-car cam .... Pretty cool to watch Kobayashi making his way through backmarker traffic, too....

After a full-course caution bunched up the field, P1 through P7 are now all within 10-11 secs. of each other and .... Pipo has passed Kobayashi to take P1!
Pipo! Pipo! Pipo!
The in-car cam for the #10 Caddy is terrific viewing right now ....

Almost 14 hours in, and only 7 secs. separating P1 (No. 31 Caddy, P2 (No. 10 Caddy), P3 (No. 7 Acura) and P4 (No. 6 Acura) .... w/drops of rain starting .... good stuff ....

The [heavy] rain really ruined what was a great race.

Yeah I was all excited to get up and watch the end of a great race after the few hours I watched Saturday. Sad way for things to finish with the terrible weather.

Oh I knooow. It was such intense battling all night!
That's why I couldn't go to sleep until the rain started... I was very afraid of the Mazda's, you could literally see the speed difference which was frustrating for me because i was already afraid of the Mustang Sampling (I'm a huge #10 fan) and now the Acura's (my heart is fully 'house-divided' with them here now with Pensky) but what a thrilling first 1/2....

It would have been an awesome finish if it stayed green to the end with a dry track.

They made the right decision to stop the race due to visibility and the amount of water on the track. But still, it was too bad it ended the way it did.

First 6 Hour I remember explicitly was when Derek Bell, Chip Robinson and Al Holbert won in a Porsche 962.
