great website for racing car pics and history
http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/
Excellent website for racing car pics and info. With some history from individual chassis as well. One amusing find below.
One curious find was Williams signed Jean Alesi, so how did Ferrari get Williams to release him? Ferrari gave Williams a 1990 F1 car as a trade for Alesi.

The fifth of a total of seven 640 F1s built, chassis 119 served mostly as a T-car during the second half of the 1990 season. It would play a more important role after its contemporary racing career. In an attempt to convince Frank Williams to release his new signing Jean Alesi, Ferrari offered chassis 119 to the British team owner. Alesi joined Ferrari in 1991 and this 640 F1 was duly delivered to Williams' Didcot based museum early in 1993. Just over a decade later, it was offered in the Bonham's Ferrari sale at Gstaad. Offers failed to meet the reserve but it did eventually change hands. Under new ownership, it is seen here during the 2009 Modena Trackdays
