I think a more mature Tsunoda would've gotten the seat. He gets a bit too emotional at times, but has put in a solid drive overall once he settled into it.
Given the RBR/RB relationship, is Lawson isn't cutting it, RBR can just swap them.
As a Bottas fan, I'm hoping the 1 year off/reserve gets him a shot at the Cadillac seat for 26.
Things I never thought about until a NASCAR driver (whose name I have forgotten) drove an F1 car at Abu Dhabi and said the wind was trying to pull his head off. LOL
Finally got around to going through all my USGP photos from October....
F1, Masters F1, and Masters Endurance. Can't remember if Porsche Supercup had a separate session at this point
The endurance cars were an eclectic mix, lots of variation in the age of the cars.
The C5.R was a borderline hazard, never saw a lap in anger even in quali. The little E36 & C7.R were probably the loudest 2 cars of the entire day.
Thanks!, T16-T18 isn't the best spot for photos, but the accommodations were far superior to sitting in the stands or GA.
Was talking to our rep on Thursday & one of her partners. The 2nd guy scored some open air box seats [opposite the pits, I believe, under the huge awnings on the grandstands, looking at street view, I guess those are suite tickets with a 'box' behind them] on the front straight. Gave him a hard time for it & he said he'd see about getting me up there next year. Tough call between front straight or a catered tent. Why not both
Also told my rep we should do Vegas this year, too.
