Hey West, remember this??

Remember all the shards of CF we picked up and how the concrete barricade he made initial contact with had been moved by the impact? Shades of Senna's crash at Imola went through my mind as I saw Kubica's helmet bobble as he slid down the track on his side.

Yep, still have some of those shards somewhere. I should look for them at my parents house. Too bad we couldn't get any bigger pieces from the trunks of those cars they stuffed parts into. Impact was nuts, and the silence after was eerie/worrisome. Think lots of people were thinking the same as you .

But the best was when we were in the same grandstand when Kubica won and all those Polish guys sitting to our left got up and sang their national anthem when Robert was on the podium. I'll never forget that.

Great day yesterday watching from the Platine Grandstand just before Turn 1. I was timing different cars/drivers through that complex and RBR was a full second quicker than LH/Seb/Bottas/Kimi (4 vs. 5). But, where the RBR cars were quick in sectors 1 & 2, Ferrari was quickest of all in sector 3. Going to be interesting today to see how MBZ fares with the Hypers which weren't used yesterday.

Safety in case of something weird happening at track and I can't get pick in:

Hamilton/MBZ

Interesting pick based on your observations.
