Ford Jordan?

Looks as tho Eddie J has found a saviour in Ford. Apparently FoMoCo is going to supply Jordan w/ factory engines beginning next year. Strange thing is they already support Jaguar. Maybe Jag is out after next year and Ford is in. I'm glad for EJ b/c he certainly "deserves" it in my opinion. I'd like to see another German mfr purchase the old Jag team (Audi?)

You think with Audi's dominations in ALMS, they would move on to something like F1...

One MAJOR difference--Ford doesn't already own one of those teams nor does Honda own BAR or Jordan, they merely supply engines. FoMoCo obviously has spent hundreds of millions to start (Stewart racing was heavily financed by Ford); purchase; and operate (now) Jaguar Racing F1 and develop the lousy R3. During a Ford Board of Directors meeting last year, someone wanted to know who Edward Irvine was and how come he was making 7.5M/year? He is Ford's highest paid employee. I never said I dislike a mfr supporting two teams, in fact, I enjoy seeing who makes the best of it currently (is it gonna be BAR or Jordan?).
