I'm probably gonna rent an Impala and drive with my friend. We did that last year... went well... I won't take my cars for a 2000 miles week end...

I'll keep you posted

Doubt I'm going to make either Indy or Montreal this year. I just got assigned a lot of new cases in my new position and one of them includes a trial mid-June. Just in time to f*&k my summer racing/travel schedule up. Oh well . . . .

i went a couple years back 14 hours from RI. wow was that a long drive. i dunno if i'm going with my dad but if we do, do something it will be to hit montreal for the race hang out there for a day or two and then head down to indy.

my dads partner knows some guys from the ferrari team so maybe if we go we'll hang with them at the race and get some passes, i wish, i hope, that would be a dream come true.

Looks like me and Dad are going for the weekend by car. I was gonna rent and then thought fuck it--take the Z so I am. Trying to get hookups for Tower Terrace suite seats (above the pits). Should know tomorrow. Hook up Saturday nite fellas?

I won't be going, but my local racing paraphernalia/memorabilia shop (The Motorsport Collector) will have a tent there. They don't generally carry team apparel, but they do have most everything else as far as models, books, videos, and racing art goes. That said, I don't know how much they're planning on bringing with them. Their tent will be on the South side of Crawfordsville a bit West of the IMS main gate at 16th & Georgetown. The owner Paul is a good guy. Check 'em out if you're in the area.

BTW - I have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer.

What happened @ the U.S.G.P. was as Bernie called it "a travesty".

I've been fortunane to go the last few years & I can only imagine what I would have felt if I went this year...

Hope F1 can bounce back in the U.S. after that...

oh yea. the black Ferrari in front of the F40 is a BB512i.... talk about rare. I think it's the 2nd or 3rd one I've seen all my life. Of course, most people didn't notice it.

this is the 4th F40 I've seen.

it's the LM wing. I do think it takes away from the flow of the already-beautiful original body... man if I had one I wouldn't touch that sheit... its perfection.

This hearing on the 29th looks to be a very dark day for F1.

Tony George (Indianapolis M.S) might file a law suit of $13.5 million against the FIA which is what I think that they'll tell the teams & Michelin to pay @ the hearing along w/maybe tix for next year...

I wrote Joie Chitwood this morning and told him I thought IMS did a great job and that as a true fan, his speedway did nothing wrong. He wrote back a nice letter. He's a friend of my brother's.

no I didn't get there til Sunday, remember? A friend of mine took these pics, it may have been Friday night - I'll find out later. Do you remember what he looked like? He is about 6'1", skinny and umm... for lack of a better word, Caucasian.

They did do a great job. They had no idea or control of the situation.

The city itself makes multi-millions from the G.P. so it would be in the best interest to everybody for this to work out...
