Did Schu accidentally lose?

I don't buy this theory being floated out there purportedly started by some photog who saw Michael gettin' outta his car on parc ferme looking extremely bent. I think he wanted Rubens to win, after all Rubens has been the ideal team mate and I'm sure, is now destined to be a #2 driver at Ferrari the rest of his days. Too bad, he obviously can keep up w/ Michael in the same car. Schu seemed genuinely up to something in his interview, like he was hiding the fact that he let Rubens win (remember Austria anyone?) Just my 2 cents

I still think all of this is bad for the sport, RB gets screwed in one race, then MS has to lose a future race to make up, that's BS in my opinion. Just race !!

Schueys excuse was he wanted a equal finish but we all know thats impossible...since letting Rubens win would allow him to lock up the 2nd spot in points and Michael already had #1 on lock it's a no-brainer

If you're a 1 guard and your teammate needs only 1 more bucket to win the scoring title, then you dish the rock...same deal here...its not like Rubens is on a different team.

Michael cld have ensured Rubens taking 2nd in championship by winning the race too since that wld have put it beyond mathematical possibility for the rest. This doesn't bother me at all. I've been watching F1 for 30+ years and it's always been the same. It's a team sport AFTER the driver gets his championship. Turn the time back a few years--Schumacher was blocking for Irvine at the Malaysian GP so Eddie cld try and win the championship (after MS broke his leg @ Silverstone). What I'm looking forward to is the ONLY race of the year where the Ferrari boys can race w/ no restrictions--Suzuka! MS has his problems here, but RB does pretty good. We shall see. And then we shall see Chief F1 in a deep, dark, somber mood until next March!
