CART sold !!!

Just announced that CART was sold to a private group headed by Forsythe, Kalkhoven and Gentilozzi. CART was running out of time so i'm glad this got done. These guys are loaded and should ensure a much better future for the series. They will continue with the assortment of tracks and keep the sponsors Bridgestone and Ford. I'll have to wait and see, but i believe these guys mean business and the whole element of a CART weekend will be changing.

And not a minute too soon either.

But it's not a done deal yet. There are a bunch of issues still to resolve, Jon Vannini being the biggest one.

I'd really hate to see CART fall by the wayside and this is a small glimmer of hope. There's still a long road to go yet though.

I agree. I would hope Forsythe and Kalkhoven have been working behind the scenes to keep things moving forward. CART can't afford to lose any more teams !
