2026 Formula One Fantasy League
Rules for the 2026 Acurazine Formula One Fantasy League:
Rules: 1. For each race weekend, you must post one Driver and one Team as your picks for the event. The Driver you pick does not have to be from the Team that you also pick for the event. Selection for each race must be posted in the event’s thread prior to qualifying. "Prior to qualifying" means the official start of qualifying posted by the FIA in the calendar prior to the race weekend. This deadline will not shift in the event of delays caused during the race weekend, such as weather related delays. 2. You can only choose the same driver 4 times for the entire season. You can only choose the same team 5 times for the entire season. 3. Points calculation will be as follows: Drivers picked for the event will receive points as classified by the FIA after the race results are confirmed. Teams picked for the event will receive 1/2 points as classified by the FIA after the race results are confirmed. 3.a In the event that the race finishes prematurely and the FIA issues partial points, we will still award full points for the purpose of this competition. 3.b If no points are issued by the FIA for a race, we will not award points as well. In which case, the competitors’ picks for that race will not count toward the four pick limit for drivers, and four pick limit for constructors. 3.c In the event that the FIA makes post race penalties, the statue of limitations is 2 weeks from the end of the event or prior to the start of practice of the subsequent race, whichever comes first. 3.d No points will be awarded for the fastest lap. 3.e No points will be awarded for the outcomes of the sprint races. 4. Whoever has the highest points total at the end of the season will be declared the Acurazine Formula 1 Fantasy League Champion. Winning the championship has no value, and will not improve your Points, Reputation score, or bank account. Disputes to the game are not subject to arbitration or mediation. |
Any rule changes? Results could be wild with the biggest formula changes since 1961.

Any interest in bringing sprint points back into the mix
|
I think we continue as before.
Sprints will just make it more complicated, unless we make it a full subcategory with a separate [reduced] pick count Also: A big  and thanks to F-C for running things. |

Sprint races are gimmicky.
What's worse is that they are talking about doubling them down our throats... |
You don't have to watch
|
Unfortunately for me, I don't particularly like the F1 feed. And Apple makes it hard to watch the sky feed.
You can only watch replays of the races, not qualifying or practice. I find sky to be much, much better but they're forcing us the F1 feed... |
I can't find any way to switch to the Int'l nor Sky option in the AppleTV app on my Samsung TV.
Luckily, F1TV is still a viable option. |

Found it, you have to scroll way down on the main AppleTV menu, then there's a SkyF1 option. It's not easy to find.
Also, on my computer via F1TV, I have the multiview option, but do not with AppleTV nor the F1TV app on my Roku. |
