^^^ Thank God for halos! When the FIA first started talking about the halos I was put off. In light of Alonso, Lewis, Grosjean and now Zhou being saved by the halo, I'm all for it.

Hated the halo when it first debuted, but barely notice it now, just part of the car. Though, I do miss the shoulder height cam, pre-halo, but the helmet cam is pretty neat, especially in the rain.
Crazy amount of attrition on this race, and a bummer that GR was denied rejoining after he stopped to check on Zhou (is the story I heard).

GR, while did the right thing as a human, did the wrong thing as a racer. He left the car, couldn't get it restarted, told the marshals not to take it, ran back to the pits during the red flag for instructions to restart it, and while there the car arrived on a flatbed.

I get the instinct to check on your fellow racer, especially seeing it upside down & vaulted into the fence.
I guess he wasn't able to get pit comms back up once he was out of the car? Then, even if he got it restarted, likely would've been penalized, not sure how effectively the drivers are able to re-belt themselves in.
