I honestly thought I had lost 2nd to Bearcat, oh well, hanging on . . . . first 0.0 this season thankfully.

BearCat, civicdrvr, and F-C are the only three without zero races yet. Although they've all had single digit results as well.

The top of the table looks like a traffic jam with. Miraculously, West is still leading despite getting almost no points for two races in a row.

4 races to go & only 30.5 points covering the top 6, with picks running short, could get interesting.

It's a toss up.

Definitely the tightest at this point of the season since I started participating (2014). Usually at this point, we're down to 2-4 people in contention.

Bearcat takes the lead for the first time this year with three races left.
Chief's curve has been as flat as a pancake over the last 4 races.

A poor result for the USGP, compared to others, but still jump a place -almost

It's still a tight one.
Unfortunately none of my remaining picks for the season are a lock, so barring some craziness, I'll be happy with the 4 spot at the end.

I think we're all near that boat. Gets tough when you're stuck picking in the unpredictable midfield. Even more so this year where the midfield is so dynamic.
Personally, I think dropping picks to 3 instead of 4 would make it even more interesting.

I'm not against that.

When you have 2-3 consistent teams at the front, makes it easier to keep with those teams for driver picks, running out of those sooner & having to strategize more with the midfield would shake things up a bit.

So we used to do 3 picks, but people weren't happy with it, because you very quickly run out of the ability to pick drivers that can deliver big points. Also, with the longer calendars now, it would exacerbate the problem.

True, there'd be more low points results.
It's a tough balance between too easy to score points with 2-4 teams at the front or no points when you run out of front picks...

Revised standing after USGP due to Alonso being reinstated.
Minor change to the points, but no change of positions.

thoiboi's 365 points is just enough for him to stay in the fight. So long as he gets maximum points for the next two races, and no one else makes a pick, he could still win the championship.

16.5 points separate the top 3
Is this the closest the AZine FO FL has been going into the last race of the season?

won with an almost 30pt lead in AD last year.
won in 2020 with just a 3.5 point lead, over me. Sakhir & AD we had the same points results, so the last 3 rounds were 3.5 points
That's just looking at the 1/2 spots.

If West's team-mate crashes and brings out a safety car for the last race, I'm calling a foul .... .
