That's nonsense. I did that this week, and scored less than had I changed my pick. I was debating changing to either Alonso or Danny Ric, but left my original Bottas pick. Look at how that ended up. It's all luck of the draw. Make your best guess based on whatever info/strategy, and hope for the best. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

It's going to be hard to catch uzzmaan. Everyone is out of Mercedes picks.

good fun this year as everyone is so close. I imagine it's due in part to the unpredictable new formula

I just noticed you have Abu Dhabi and USGP slots reversed on table F-C.

Chief retakes the lead after a 6 week reign at the top by uzzmaan. F-C climbs into third place after a stumble by 00TL.
SteetKA, JIPul008, and dallison are now mathematically eliminated from the winning the championship.

Chief consolidates his lead at the top. One more race to go in the championship.

Now is a good time to review the championship bonus.
I don't know for certain, but I doubt anyone can catch Chief or uzzmaan for the championship at this point. Both of them have the same Hamilton-Mercedes picks for the championship bonus. That means uzzmaan will need about 17 more points than Chief in Abu Dhabi if he wants to get his second title.

actually-doesn't uzzman have to score 24 points and me none for him to win? Dropping lowest-scoring race from my score (Italy-1) vs. dropping his lowest at Malaysia (7) makes it 469.5 to 446; or, 23.5 deficit. Maybe I'm wrong, chime in Herr F-C

Chief's lowest score was in Italy, with a 1.
So the difference is 2.5.
So as of right now, the difference between uzzmaan and Chief is 2.5+17.5=20 points.

If this was last year, then Chief would almost certainly have won the championship by now. All bets are off now that we have double points.

No podium for me, but 4th isn't bad for my first season.

Final Standings
Based on the above championship bonus points, we have the final 2014 standings:
Hail to the Chief! After years of trying, Chief finally gets to become world champion. In the end, it was no contest, with Chief winning by almost 60 points.
Second goes to uzzmaan, with a last turn move to pass F-C for second. uzzmaan lead the championship for a long time and is a worthy podium finisher.
Thanks for playing!
