That's nonsense. I did that this week, and scored less than had I changed my pick. I was debating changing to either Alonso or Danny Ric, but left my original Bottas pick. Look at how that ended up. It's all luck of the draw. Make your best guess based on whatever info/strategy, and hope for the best. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

We have a new leader! uzzmaan takes the championship lead for the first time since race 1. Chief drops to second after staying in the top spot for three races. Dougler rounds out the podium places.

Back at the top Feels good

Of course, given that I used up my Ricciardo picks early in the season, I'm probably dropping back down soon

Unexpected. We'll see if it lasts. Getting harder to pick for 2nd-4th.

How you storm out of the gates and then falter in the second half every year is reminiscent of Andretti at Indy.

Shame the Williams weren't quicker in the wet.

A surging Chief overtakes 00TL. Both Chief and 00TL closes in on uzzmaan for the overall lead.

uzzmaan stays on top of the league table for a sixth consecutive race. However, how long can he maintain his position now that he is facing a relentless challenge from Chief. Come back next race to find out!

Chief retakes the lead after a 6 week reign at the top by uzzmaan. F-C climbs into third place after a stumble by 00TL.

SteetKA, JIPul008, and dallison are now mathematically eliminated from the winning the championship.

Chief consolidates his lead at the top. One more race to go in the championship.

speedemon90, SteetKA, JIPul008, and dallison are now mathematically eliminated from the winning the championship.

Now is a good time to review the championship bonus.

I don't know for certain, but I doubt anyone can catch Chief or uzzmaan for the championship at this point. Both of them have the same Hamilton-Mercedes picks for the championship bonus. That means uzzmaan will need about 17 more points than Chief in Abu Dhabi if he wants to get his second title.

actually-doesn't uzzman have to score 24 points and me none for him to win? Dropping lowest-scoring race from my score (Italy-1) vs. dropping his lowest at Malaysia (7) makes it 469.5 to 446; or, 23.5 deficit. Maybe I'm wrong, chime in Herr F-C

uzzmaan's lowest score was in Bahrain, with a 3.5.
Chief's lowest score was in Italy, with a 1.
So the difference is 2.5.

So as of right now, the difference between uzzmaan and Chief is 2.5+17.5=20 points.

If this was last year, then Chief would almost certainly have won the championship by now. All bets are off now that we have double points.

The end of the season is here. Chief ends the last race in a commanding lead. How will the lowest race point drop and bonus points impact the final standings? Stay tuned.

F-C is the big winner here as he moves up to second place with the Lowest Score Drop.

I must say, West was quite impressive, where his lowest score was 12 points, whereas most people was around 0. Can't figure out how his overall standing is so low.

Hail to the Chief! After years of trying, Chief finally gets to become world champion. In the end, it was no contest, with Chief winning by almost 60 points.

Second goes to uzzmaan, with a last turn move to pass F-C for second. uzzmaan lead the championship for a long time and is a worthy podium finisher.

Thanks for playing!
