Quite the drop. WOw. Same with AMC.

I actually bought some AMC yesterday to see what happens. Glad I put a stop on it.

Daaaang....its in free fall.

Is WSB/retail panic selling?

Some people say the real "squeeze" hasn't happened yet. The squeeze is when prices shoot through the roof very quickly right...as hedge funds try to close their shorts. So hedge funds still holding out?

WTF is going on...

the squeeze already happened last week IMO.
the shorts getting out was entirely possible last week given the total volume traded last week.

the sentiment in WSB is to still hold.

they had an AMA earlier with Mark Cuban, and he mentioned the momentum got cut short since RH and other brokerages stopped allowing buying.

No one in WSB was trading $SLV. Just some bots and fake news pushing the agenda.

I recall it was mentioned that Melvin has a position In silver.

I picked up more Tesla post split at $491. Now my average return is only a mere 303% instead of a juicy 1533% from my initial investment.

again my only regret is not buying more at $491 and buying stupid DoorDash, Airbnb, Bitcoin, DOGE, NOK and GME.

have 1 share left on GME to see how it goes, already cashed out with auto-sell triggers at $400ish/stock thursday or friday. GME might come back as lots of redditors are saying they are doing "ladder" trades to bring the price down significantly. \

WTF is going on...

For this so-called 'squeeze', everyone is assuming that a lot .... a LOT .... of shorts will have to be covered all at the same time. Like a catastrophic tire blow out where you lose all the air at once.

But I don't think that's true. I think it's more like a slow leak, where the shorts can be covered in bits and pieces over many days .... with no attendant 'spike' in price. I've read the shorts were 140% + early last week, ~120% end of the week and as low as mid-50% today .... sounds like a slow leak to me. And each day the shorts are being covered at lower and lower prices. Hedge Funds are losing billions, but nowhere near what a catastrophic failure would have cost.

Not to mention, the fundamental value of GME is still in sub- $40/$50 range (~$20-ish probably), not $95+. Which means the hedge funds can retrench their shorts and still make a ton when the stock gets back to a real price.

I wonder how many traders and investment banks bought short options when GME was above $100/share?
