Starting to invest again

In January, I will be getting a modest cost of living increase, and with that, will start to do the automatic investing again. From 2004 to 2008, we did automatic investing in our ROTH IRAs and other investments, emergency fund, child education fund, etc. at roughly $1,100 a month. This happened until my wife left the military and became a full-time stay at home mother.

Since my wife became a stay at home mother, we have been putting extra money into these investments, but nothing automatic. I like the automatic better.

The automatic investing is modest at $70 per month per IRA, but the good thing is we don't have to worry about it.

Doing all this on one income is amazing to me.

Congrats! The feeling a man gets when he knows he's getting ahead in this world is priceless, the fact your supporting a family and still getting ahead is outstanding, it's a shame more men aren't like you
