Something to think about when buying a townhouse

This is an observation my wife made about the court we live on in my townhouse development. There are about 30 house on our court. Only 3 houses have not changed ownership since we moved in 8 years ago. I would also go as far to state that 15% of them have changed owners multiple times in those 8 years.

Well, I sure could have saved a good amount of cash if I went with the adjustable mortgage.

well as most people don't stay in their first homes for more than 5 years and most townhouses are purchased as first homes because they , normally, are more affordable than SFH you should have know that an ARM is the best bet

High turnover = more chance of neighborhood going south more quickly. It also means that the people don't have as many roots there.
