Red Bull Vending

Does anyone have any advice to offer on Red Bull vending machines? I understand there is a low profit margin. But more specifically, how much does the place/person your renting the space from receive? Any good ideas or where to place Red Bull machines? I have ideas such as colleges, gyms, etc. Junior and senior high schools are probably not going to work, nor is my plan to put one right outside the state store.

I've seen them at a few gas stations...but never at my school here, they have rockstar vending machine's all over campus but those drinks are awful. I wish they had Red Bull around in vending machines.

yea i think you could do it for some "side cash" but i wouldnt try to make a living off of it obviously

your idea of colleges is the best one and would make the most sense. libraries, unions, major buildings for each major

Thanks for the positive feedback. Does anyone know how much I would need to offer whomever owns the space I will put the machine on?

That might be hard to say, especially since you are just starting out and don't know the average return on this venue.

I would say the safest way to offer the landlord is to offer him a percentage, say 25% of your gross/net profit at the end of each month. That way, hypothetically if you don't make a dime, you don't loose any money having to pay rent either.

Ok I took the next step. The problem is so many universities have three way contracts with themselves, 7-11's on campus, and other vending brands on campus. I've been told that I need to present a business proposal to the university. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to create a business proposal for this type of venture?

There are a few general guidelines you can follow online to help you write a proposal. Just make sure it's brief and to the point.
