Question about car loan and tangible asset
Hey guys. I need some information about my car loan. Long story short, my ex girlfriend co-signed for my car loan and now I'm about to pay it off. She asked me for the loan account number so she can use it as a tangible asset. The registration and title only has my name and I don't get why she wants this info. Is there something she can do that has to do with the taxes or even claim half ownership??? Need your help ASAP please. Thanks

If her name is not on the title there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I don't even know why she asked you for the loan account number since the car isn't considered hers.

One thing tangible assets are used for is loan collateral. Is she looking to borrow money? If she defaults on the loan than the car will get repossessed.
I agree with vas25tl. The title is in your name so she can't use it.
