Poll: Mortgage Interest Deduction- what's going to happen to it?
I just read a business article describing the 'Super Committee' and one of the topics of discussion being the Home Mortgage Interest deduction. Just wondering what your thoughts might be on this issue.
What's going to happen to Mortgage Interest Deduction:
1. Nothing
2. Mortgage interest percentage phase out to 0% in less than 15 years time for ALL mortgages
3. Deduction capped to mortgage interest on mortgages of 100K or less
4. Deduction capped to mortgage interest on mortgages of 250K or less

I'm going with the option of the Government will eliminate the deduction all together...
