That's not entirely true, that's just the Federal rate, there's a provincial rate on top of that, except in Alberta and Quebec. The provincial rates can vary from 1% up to 16% Kudlow kind of cut him off when he tried to explain it.

It's a little different than that Dougler. The federal rate on corporate tax is around 12%, up to $400,000. After $400,000 a business will lose it's "small business exemption". The provincial rate in Alberta is 3%, and continuing to drop. So, at least in Alberta, the rate for corporate taxable income for federal and provincial combined is about 15%. If taxable income is over $400,000, then the rate is approximately 25%.

Thanks for correcting me, I just quickly glanced over the CRA's website charts to get an estimate.
