I have $1000 to invest. Get me started.
I rather do this online for convenience so what site do you recommend I sign up for and then should I invest in mutual funds, QBID, or what. Get me started.

Apple (AAPL) has done well this year. It was about 20ish in Jan and its up to 62 now.
Look at Intel as well... heard some good things about it on the news yesterday, and its only 25ish a share.
Google has cooled off and is at a steady 170.

i say starbucks (SBUX). get yourself a cup of coffee and a wall street journal copy and pick. if you really want an investment, i suggest get 749,000 dollars more and puy an oil jack in east texas. 10 barrells a day till the day you die, my friend!

You take your own risks..........I wish I had kept my SIRI stock, now I only have about a 1/10th of what I had............ I had bought most of it @ $3 - $4.00 a share..............now it is 7.55 a share..........still thinking about getting more though
