Shit, I filed early, used TT but didnt pay out of my account for it, but did have my refund distributed into two accounts, so it's paper for me. Wish I'd known that all along so I wasn't waiting for it....

If you owe money to the IRS, then your return will get processed later, and, hence, your economic stimulus check will come later than scheduled. Bastards.

Yes.

I did not put my direct deposit information in the tax form, even though my tax service has it, and hence, will be getting a paper check on June 6th.

I was supposed to receive mine on May 9th had I gotten money back. But since I owed the IRS money, they process those returns later, and I get my money later.

well i did put my direct deposit information because i had them withdraw the money out of my checking account, and i chose the option to have the $600 deposited into the same account.

oh well...

i'll wait if i have to.

Social number ends in 81, got my refund today. I'm barely over the $75k mark and got only $420, so the tapering off is quick.

Post Oops... or D'oh! ...

I don't know how many of you this might affect, but the IRS apparently made some slight mistakes on checks or deposits;

My apologies if this is a repost- I didn't look through the last couple of days of posts in this thread.

So I just called the IRS about my rebate (92, I'm supposed to receive it today) and after about 20 minutes of Nutcracker muzak, I finally get through. The IRS lady told me that since I did my taxes through TT and paid the fees out of my refund (which was direct deposited), I won't be getting my rebate today and that it will be mailed out to me July 11. WTF

For those lucky folks who got their 6 bills already, is this IRS lady right? Did you guys pay for the TT fees out of your own pocket? Or did you pay by deducting the fees out of your refund?

It works only if you got back money. If you owed money to the IRS, the website doesn't work.

last two digit are 07 - I was suppose to get it on Friday, but I got it today When I file, I owed the state $20. Maybe that's why I got it late

I usually do it on TurboTax, but I got lazy and paid someone else to do it instead...

I didn't owe which is weird... but did have the fees of doing them with someone else taken out from my refund... I'm hoping that's the case and it just comes late rather then not coming at all...

if you had the fees taken out of your refund, it'll cause a delay.

joerockt is in the same situation.

I too am just barely over the mark. I totally didn't think I would get one. I forget there was a reduced amount for those above the $75k mark.
