so for those making around 80k that get like 40 bucks...how exactly is that going to stimulate the economy? this will go down in history as one of the most bone headed ideas the government has had.

If you can’t make an April 15 deadline, you automatically have until October 15 to file a tax return solely to receive an economic stimulus payment. You do not have to file a form to be granted an extension. However, you must file by October 15 so the IRS can process your return and issue a stimulus payment before the end of the year.

Just in case no one has checked the IRS website on the stimulus schedule... here's an update right off the site...
3 more days or less until mine comes in... that's if I qualified 
$900 for me because its $600 for single plus 1 child $300... To bad I can't count my daughter... child support ftl...

If you are eligible, you should have the money in your account BY (that means on or before) the day stated.

Just found out that I have to file an amended return... My Dad used TurboTax to prepare my federal/state taxes since it was easy to just plug in my numbers. Well he didn't know my SS #, so he just put 123-45-6789 as a default until he asked me what it was. Well he forgot to ask me.. Somehow I received my federal tax refund, but not my state, and I filed in February.
I have to file an amended return for both federal (to get my stimulus check) & state to get my refund!

Mine is 47, I filed VERY early, and last name starts with S... no idea if that matters or not, .... Will keep checking....
I wonder if different banks post at different times? My online banking was a bitch to get into this morning; I'm sure everyone was checking at 9:01 am.
