Chase, bankone, chase...annoying

Sorry for the long read.

So, I have used Chase for years. I have always been very happy with them.

I currently have a Chase platinum that has 0% thru Jan 06. Well, I have a balance on it (less then 2g) And i dont know if I will get it paid off by January. I am freelancer, so you don't always when or how much your next paycheck will be. but aside from this small bill, I dont put myself in debt.

Anyway, I got an ad for another chase platinum this time with 05 on transfers through DEC 06. Ok, I'll get it.

Well, I get the card....only has 0% through Sept.....no biggie, but not what I had signed up for...no one on the phone while activating can tell me why.

So, I'm doing some banking today....Chase itself has a horrid website for online banking.....but i rarely use it. But I'm trying to add my new card to my accounts...no, try enroll it as a new accoun....no.

I finally call Chase...."we have no record of your card." WHAT. "Are you sure its not a Bankone card, we just merged with them." No its not a bank one card. The application said Chase, the card says Chase.....No where does it say bank one.

Dude, who is a little prick, transfers me over to bank one. Sure enough...it was issued through bankone...........how retarded, and annoying, and inconvienent was all that.

Now...they send to www.cardservices.com to activate my online account.....once you hit enter the url changes to firstusa...WHAT....well bankone used to be firstusa...and is now finishing its merger with Chase....WHY THE FUCK HAS ANY OF THIS BEEN UPDATED??? And why fucking give me a chase card under bankone if the merger is incomplete.

To cap it all off, I go make balance transfer online.....not available...WHAT AGAIN.

I call, make the transfer over the ask why I cant do it online..."because you got a promotion card..once the 0% ends in spet 06 you can do everything online" I'm sorry that is fucking stupid....So, i have myself transfered over to the internet dept, to ask if I can have this feature enabled....the lady tells me its 3 month safety that is new accts and it will work after 90 days. OK fine.

This has all been one giant annoyance. Why cant people who work for companies know what they are fucking talking about. And if the merger is not complete why I am getting a card that says chase all over it...yet its only in bankones system.

Bank are fucking retarded. but i had never a problem with Chase until this...cept for their shitty website.

Also, I always pay $397 a month fixed because I have a 4.99 fixed rate account with them and I want to pay $397. Well, now the only options for autopay is FULL amount ($23,000) or minimum charge $200 or so. That's BS. I want to pay $397. Just because...

Thankfully...bank of america's website is very well laid out, and their bill pay section rules....I just tell bank of america what I want to pay them each and they send the check.

Better and easier then having to log into each individual websites to pay bills. Do it all at once.

Yeah, I have BofA and I will have to set up the bill pay through them from now. But do they send a paper check or electronic? I don't knwo what relationship they have with Chase. For all my bills, they send a paper chekc in the mail.

BoA sends out paper checks. so make you sure you give them at least 4 business days prior to your due date.
