i think i might be going up there, or to MAP to check it out, or to my friends to install footwells and fix subs (blew a fuse 3 times in 4 days), uni depends on how cold it is

Hit a deer coming home in the TL tonight. It was getting dark but I wanted to take the little scenic forest route home (Takata, you ever pass through Goose Lake Road sometimes? That little stretch of road reminds me of Europe ) Well I was doing 40mph, then the deer popped outta nowhere as I was going around the curve from the right side of the road. Luckily I saw it in the corner of my eye jumping out and turned the car away and so the impact wasn't so bad. I ended up mostly just scraping the deer as it ran into my car. No damage besides little scratches..but that's nothing new....Punk deer ran away.

 

haha, my friends dad once had a bear run into his car on a highway, and they were pulling it off to the side of the road, and it woke up and ran away

In all my glory and wisdom, I completely forgot this is a bye week for the queens.

So Sunday - as long as it isn't snowing - I'm down for the Honda cruise. Otherwise I'm still looking for some takers for a get together tomorrow (today).

Cars pretty dirty, but nothing that a run through the do-it-yourself wash can't take care of.

I'm working on a PC from hell that i have been fighting for 4 days now. I guess its not really the PC's fault, but I have been unsuccessfully trying to copy the drive using Ghost.

So this morning I decided enough is enough and I am just going to reload everything for him. If I would have done that from the start, I could have had this done 3 days ago.

I told the guy that I would have it done by 1 or 2 at the latest, and I have to be out to cambridge for a party by 4pm. Us old people have to drink during the day when we can see - can't have us tripping on shit in the dark and breaking a hip

I guess maybe a meet today might not work out the best. If things don't wind up being what we expect, maybe I will be back in town earlier than expected and we can meet up on Uni again or something. Otherwise what's the plan for tomorrow? I think I'm going to be headed to the Honda meet unless we wanted to put something together with us Aziners? Though that Honda site advertising the meet sounds like a new site, so I don't think we're gonna be odd man out with a bunch of dudes that have known each other for years or anything.

Takata - I think you said this was by your house? You planning on meeting us there? Depending on the drive, I may just show up for a meet and greet and skip the drive - but you never know.

I won't be back in Mpls until probably 7 or 8, and my car is not in any kind of condition for being shown. We got rained on the whole way through Iowa and then it has rained on us each day here, so I said screw it, I'm not washing it until I get home.
